John Quincy Adams, born 1767. He was alive during the American Revolution and was the son of 2nd US president and founding father, John Adams.
As a young man, Quincy Adams was appointed by George Washington as ambassador to the Netherlands. He spent a lot of his time during those days trying to keep America out of the French Revolution. Adams himself later went on to become the 6th US president.
This photo (daguerreotype) was taken in 1843, a few years before his death.

Some say he was the most intelligent of all the presidents. Kinda cool to see a photograph of someone who remembers the American Revolution.
