I hope someone treated that ‘63 right, because it would be very valuable today. A lot of people cut out the vertical bar in the rear window to make them look like a newer model.

That is clearly not a picture "from days gone by." It's a recent picture of someone's Vette collection. I'm sure the '63 Vette is fine and looks just like it does in the RECENT picture.

The inventor of modern taxidermy Carl Akeley. He killed the leopard when it attacked him. He was hunting specimen in Africa. His works are in Chicago Field Museum and several others. Great biography about him is worth the read.
