Joel Thomas was the QB.

You would have been a freshman my Senior year.

A statue of Yasuke, an African slave, who arrived in Japan in 1579 and became the first black Samurai

I cannot believe there hasn't been a movie about him

Or will Netflix just remake 7 Samurai w/Snoop Dog in the lead

Every kid I knew that had that type dartboard hanging in their house had it hanging on a closet door with at least 100 or more holes in the door from kids missing the entire board.

My aunt and uncle had 4 boys and they hung one of those wound paper boards on the closet door in the house they were renting and it was so torn up that my uncle replaced the door when they were getting ready to move to another house.

It was an old house with solid wood doors and that one was so chewed up there was no saving it. Of course, it didn't help that the boys would throw those old brass and plastic darts like javelins to the board.

You baws talking Captain Shreve? Go Gators.

Once "the" high school in Shreveport for decades, Byrd was basically a black school in the 80's. When they magnetized it in the 90's, it took off.
