There was some money out that way. Captaing Shreve being the rich kid school was a little over exagerated.

we were beating either Shreve or Byrd our senior year in football, probably Byrd, but we’re starting to sub when the game was in the bag, their pep squad started chanting “that’s alright, that’s okay, you’re going to work for us one day!”

it was probably Byrd, you guys kicked our arse my junior year(Penneywell’s senior year,) that was a stacked team

Shreve ‘81 hardly snobs!

Grew up with fish fries in the backyard with many neighbors. Good ole days actually!!

I remember taking sips from unattended beers!

Carlos Pennywell, number 12! Shreve was State Champs that year.

Carlos' mother taught at University Elementary. A good friend of mines mother was the school secretary at Southwood.

Mike, I did 4 years at Shreve. Sandra McCullough was the Principal.

I remember going to those football games. The icon Lee Hedges was the coach. I think Joel Thomas was the QB, at least for some of the time Carlos was WR.
