Little different having them in a pasture than in a tiny cage at a damn gas station. Sounds like this gas station owner is a real POS, i remember reading about the tiger on here

Deplorable looking conditions.

Yeah, I don't get it. They have a sign "Live Camel". And then you go there and it's this cage that looks like shite and you have to get out and go to another part of the cage to really see it.

It seems like if you are going to have an exotic animal for people to view, you would at least put effort into making the living conditions not look so poorly. It just stands there with not much room to move.

Is there no animal control rules in Louisiana?

Yes, La dept of Ag inspects and regulates exotic animals- ownership and care. This place has been inspected to death and still gets to keep an exotic on the premises.

But by all means let the bunny huggers have their fit. The camel will still be there when they’re all taunting and taking pics of the Tiger their university keeps in an enclosure. Instead of letting that apex predator roam the jungles of India freely.

I'm not sure how to interpret the statements above.

I have no idea what they have to meet to pass inspection, but whatever it is, the Tiger Truck Stop must meet the bare minimum.

You want to compare the camel's habitat to Mike the Tiger's?

Mike has an area for him to run around, water for him to swim into that is cleaned once a week and he is cared for by a veterinarian school. It's a lot better than where he would have been if LSU didn't adopt them.
