I would drive it with a Euro plate in the front. The soccer moms will be on my nuts.

Better get two of them, because one will always be in the shop!

Looks like some of the classic Disco lines are coming back (arse end of this thing looks like a box).

I'd give it a whirl. My first car was a Disco 1..and have been disappointed by every iteration of the Discovery since the LR3 came into existence.

The new Rovers all have that offset back license plate. Center that shite.

What model year LR/RR did you have? Just curious and what issues did you have?

I have a 2012 RR that is coming up on 93,000 mi on the clock and it has been as trouble free as any vehicle I've driven. Materials/appearance has held up very nicely as well. These things a great driver's car with very solid handling.

Was curious if yours was pre-2008?

Some cool looking features but way too feminine overall for me.

I don't. I do work in the car business and Land Rover's are notoriously bad. Get a GMC or Lexus you'll get a better value for your money.

My wife likes the damn discovery sport... prolly the best looking of most of the small suvs, but I’ve never read anything good about reliability until what was posted above. They are good looking little SUVs... actually look like one still.
