i am currently sitting outside in Katy TX and am bombarded with big arse flies...they always come out this time of year, but otherwise Mosquitoes...i am not sure what food source they serve or what they provide but frick them !!! i will let these big flies that don't bite land on me all day.

Oh nobody mentioned horseflies or dearflies !! what purpose to they serve to our ecosystem ?? they are fricking so bad in certain water areas
