Wasps and hornets are very beneficial insects. Unless you FAFO with them.

Most people don't realize just how beneficial, and what the term "wasp" actually encompasses.

That's a sycamore tussock moth caterpillar. The caterpillar/moth damages many different trees and plants. On it are the cocoons of a parasitoid wasp. That wasp laid its eggs inside the caterpillar, the eggs hatched to larvae which ate their way out of the caterpillar, and spun cocoons on it. The small wasp on one of the cocoons is what is known as a hyperparasitoid. It is a parasitoid wasp that targets the larvae of another parasitoid wasp.

I've seen quite a few of those type caterpillars this year, and as a result I've seen many parasitoid wasps that target them. I have pics of four different caterpillars that have been targeted by those wasps.

Here's a parasitic stink bug that targets other insects. It is native, and unfortunately doesn't target the invasive brown marmorated stink bug that you (and I) wish to eradicate.

Ticks have the added issue of attaching themselves were you have to have someone else inspect inconvenient parts of you.

Mosquitoes would be convenient but it would probably wreck the food chain if they disappeared. Same thing with rats. Hornets and wasps keep other insects in check. I’m going to go with bed bugs because it seems like eliminating them would be the least probable to cause severe issues in other areas.
There is a butterfly effect insect joke in here somewhere

Mosquitos are pollinators, so no. Fleas possibly, but the disease they spread among rats keeps the population in check. Roaches and rats are garbage disposers, so no. Wasps, hornets, etc. keep the pest insect populations in check.

I'm going to go with religious people.

Horse flies or mosquitos.

One of those frickers bit me on the heel and it formed a blister then scabbed up and eventually fell off a month later. frick all that.

Squitos suck and carry disease, but some of that incense type stuff you burn keeps them away and at least on me I get the initial welt from a bite then it goes away. And you can spray your yard and shite for them.

Mosquitoes. Wipe out the disease-vectoring ones.

The others are merely annoying.
