Shoot your SO to play it safe, you can't let the bad guys win
Side note: why do companies still pay for phone books to be made and delivered?

phone book delivery people tend to be sketchy

I would call the phone book company and ask about delivery times. If something doesn't add up call the cops.

Because shitty ambulance chasers have to reach out to the bottom rung of society

I was out having a drink with my sister
I was distracted by this sentence. Not sure if I should ask for her pics or your SO (assuming your so is female)
Hope it works out for you either way.

I was thinking the same thing but I'm not sure how to call the yellow pages. Their number is not in the yellow pages

Sounds like your SO banged the phone book guy and is using the flashlight excuse because the neighbors saw him leaving your house and she was worried they would tell you they saw him walking off your porch.

His fingers were doing the walking if you know what I'm saying.

I may be being paranoid here but I find it odd that they delivered so late at night
Why, not at all.

Id be shocked if the guy was up to no good. Typically phone book delivery guys are the best of the best.

Maybe the person delivering the phone book has a day job and is just moonlighting, intended, for some extra arse..err cash.
He probably delivers milk or has a paper route during the morning/day and does this in the evenings.

I'm not one to worry but he was apparently shining a flashlight right into the window by my front door

They have always thrown mine in the yard. Not sure why the dude needed to see the inside of your house to drop off a phone book

Businesses are still buying space in the yellow pages. I don't know why, but that's what pays to have the books made and delivered.

They just tie mine up in a plastic bag and tie/hang it on the mailbox.
Which I live on the river, down a gravel drive about a qtr mile off a dead end road, and there are no street lights out here so you can't really see the house at night from the road.
They were probably too afraid. I don't have trick or treaters, politicians, mormons/Jehovah Witnesses or trick or treaters dressed as Mormon/Jehovah Witness politicians either.
