I had an led flashlight coming through my window on my front door transom the other night and spooked me. When I looked out it was UPS delivering about 9 pm. I thought "someone is going to pop a cap on that guy."

Pretty sure paper phone books are going the way of the dinosaur. I know in Baton Rouge, 2016 was supposed to be the last edition - it's all going to be online now.
I'd check the date - if it truly is a 2017 phonebook - then no worries. If not - then be prepared for his return visit.
