You know, it is almost worth it to start a small movement and tag NOLA public buildings with "Beauregard was here."

Someone should make a stencil of Mitch w/ a dick head

If I were artistically inclined, if have "mitch the bitch" over mitch riding a giant dick (like a horse) with gen Lee in front of him, his cock planted right between mitches big ole lips

I find this hard to believe. While this statue thing has gotten some play in the national media, it isn't exactly dominating the national public discourse.

You mean people can use their dollar votes? Like in North Carolina and other places?

i am here only because my work brings me here. I live in the other utopia called Baton Rouge.

I can't wait to leave this state. A few family ties keep me here in the short-run.

After the board went down last night I fell asleep and missed "the lift".

Me too, I finally gave in around 3:00. They lifted around 3:15.

Has nothing to do with the absurdly high taxes, the second tax bill that just went out, the crime, terrible public schools, his leadership, infrastructure, et al

Can't confirm but I heard the city already has a crew on the scene to pressure wash the spray paint. That took 2 hours to get a crew there.

This city, particularly the black citizens and Democrats, have never ever mobilized more quickly or efficiently or unified for any event or cause.

Think of all the problems they can't even begin to try to discuss finding solutions to.

I mean it would be comical if it wasn't so tragic.

For those interested in the progression of HB71, the bill was just assigned to Karen Carter Peterson's "kill" committee.

It is dead on arrival.

At least tag the pot holes with Beauregard's name. City might do something then.

Can they at least cover the exposed brick on the thing? The base just sitting there is ugly af.

Leave it.
Post the photo constantly. The City prefers it this way. City Park prefers it this way.

Makes me want to vomit.
Bet once Reznor and Achoo get there, it'll allllllll be ooooooooooooooo kaaaaaaaaaaay.
