Just heard for the first time today, this guy is a Veterinarian, from Greece no less! Funny they didn’t plaster that all over the news
My point being, its ironic that if it was something the fake news wanted to attack, it would have been prefaced with that early on. Just like the attacks on Ivermectin and HCQ. Nothing more, nothing less.

You think the CEO of Lockheed knows how to build a jet engine?

Well he’s herding a Bunch of sheep, so it makes sense

You think the CEO of Lockheed
Also we "worked together" at different companies, although he kind of was the management type and I was a bit of a peon.

It’s almost as if you don’t even know the history of Pfizer and Zoetis.

An engineer who understands aerospace. Most of Lockheed Martin’s revenues and returns are generated from aerospace activities, and Taiclet has a lengthy record of achievement in that arena. He studied engineering at the Air Force Academy, where he graduated with distinction; was a pilot and instructor (over 5,000 flight hours) in the Air Force; became an aerospace consultant at McKinsey & Company; was vice president of military and commercial engine services at Pratt & Whitney; and then became president of Honeywell Aerospace Services. So while he is best known for his success at American Tower, Taiclet spent a majority of his adult life in aerospace.
Sounds like he might know how to build an engine.

Looks like I may have picked one hell of a bad example. But ya’ll get my point.

I totally get it. I just found it funny that the shot in the dark was that interesting.

And? The CEO of Boeing is an accountant.
Posted on 11/10/21 at 9:43 pm to zippyputt
Irrelevant for being a CEO.

The former ceo of Boeing was an extremely qualified engineer. This guy was brought in as damage control from the board room.
I'm understanding the point you guys are trying to make and don't necessarily disagree actually, just it's not that wild for the ceo of a company to be qualified to do important work at that company.

For what it is worth veterinarians probably get more basic training and practical experience in epidemiology than most medical doctors as infectious diseases are a lot of what they see, not to mention most of the nasty big infectious issues in humans are due to zoonotic diseases.

Funny they didn’t plaster that all over the news
They don’t plaster any of their CVs all over the news.
Weak sauce, the story here is that there’s no story.
You reach, I teach.

Nice try, but…
Taiclet began his career as a U.S. Air Force officer and pilot, where he logged over 5,000 flying hours as an aircraft commander, instructor pilot, and unit chief of Standardization and Evaluation. His rotational assignments included the Joint Staff and Air Staff at the Pentagon, and he served in the Gulf War and among other missions, was a pilot in one of the first transport aircraft deploying U.S. forces into Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Shield, a Lockheed C-141B Starlifter.
He holds a master’s degree from Princeton University, where he was awarded a fellowship at the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, and he is a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy with degrees in engineering and international relations.

Exactly my point being made by most of the idiots spouting horse dewormer etc… when it was bull crap. How often did we hear that but never that the Pfizer guy who tells those who don’t trust their “vaccine’ they are fools, was a foreign veterinarian.
