Good point. I still think the 63% doesn’t bode well for the future. If anything I think we can expect to see birth rates continue to decline and this will present labor market challenges.

Without having sample size information, sample size in that age range, and total population numbers, it doesn't mean anything.
Could be much less men reported in that age range. When looking at the overall percentages at 28 and 32, that would be indicative that there are more men than women.

You're assuming that in a relationship means in a monogamous relationship. Gen Z women who want to date men their own age are increasingly entering into defacto polygamous relationships.

Women are being knowingly or unknowingly haramed by hookup culture. A lot of those women are dating the same guy, both being strung along with no real chance he’ll commit to either of them.

Not necessarily the same but there are more married women than men ( and this was the case before gay marriage).... This puzzled statisticians so they did research and since wives generally outlive their husbands... Widows still in large percentage considered themselves "married" whereas widowers dont

Love how men after 18-29 stay constant in the 20-30 percent range while women in their prime years are low percentage but start trending higher after 49.

Looks like there are alot of single gay men, which makes sense. Might be part of the reason alot of men are single. Depending on where this survey was conducted, 50% of the men surveyed could be gay.

I think that’s more internet fanfiction than reality.
I think our young adults have lost the ability to communicate with one another and that’s why you have seen a rise in parasocial relationships like interacting with Twitch streamers for a form of friendship or by participating on OnlyFans to try and fill the void of a mate and sexual partner. I think it’s a very sad society being facilitated.
