Oh I am so sorry. We had issues with our cat and a blocked urethra last Christmas. He was crying and crying and you could tell just miserable and we finally brought him to the pet ER. I cried and cried at the thought of him not making it as it was iffy. He ended up having to stay at our regular vet for several nights and it was SO weird to not have him here in his spots. He's fine now and has special cat food but it's worth it to us.
He adopted us 6 years ago and hopefully will be around a long time. I'm truly sorry.
They are way more than just animals.

Sorry to hear. I'm dreading the day my old girl cat goes. She is 17. Her hearing is not as good but she is still at it every day.

Dude i know the feeling, im struggling too. We put our dog down Sunday, he was 13 years old! He was a big part of my early adult life, im going to miss him.

Liz sorry for your loss. I hate cats but your sob story pull at my heart strings. Losing anything you love sucks.
At least you still have your SO, a cat and a dog.

Cats are awesome. I had my first cat for 19 years. When we lost her it was a real blow. I'm sorry for your loss.
