I don’t know how he thinks it’s ok to joke about Watson’s wife this way. This is from the SEC Network halftime show on Saturday.

It was a joke. Anyone who would take offense to that has problems. I'm not really convinced Watson was offended, seemed like he was playing up the joke.

I definitely don’t think Watson was joking. He has a later tweet saying he wants a public apology for his wife. Also, don’t joke about another man’s wife. On air. When he’s much bigger than you. Have to be smarter than that.

Burns wants to be the class clown but joking about another mans wife on air or not is pretty disrespectful especially when it's common knowledge that the Watsons are a God fearing Christian family.

I hate that Burns did this....he was a great success story about never giving up on your dreams.
This is another reason why I hate that we have so many talking-heads shows on television. People can only talk so long before having to say something idiotic.

If anyone misinterpreted that as Burns insisting his wife cheated they are morons. It was clearly a joke almost on the same level as a your mom joke. Watson looks like a tool for getting his panties twisted over an obvious joke.

I'd have zero issue with it because I'm not insecure and a miserable person who can't take a joke. If i got offended over something so trivial and clearly a joke my wife would probably wonder what was wrong with me.

Ben Watson is a good guy, probably took a lot for him not to beat the shite of Burns right there on the set. Burns took a cheap shot at Watson, and he was man enough to hold back.
