That fckker lived a good life. My life at one time revolved around activities for her.

But I can never repay in kind what she gave me in life.

Bathing before a shower is relaxing!

I lift, BJJ and work on my cardio.

Me too plus I live it daily. Cockatoos are clowns. My wife also has an African Grey that can talk vert well and is a smart arse but she's not as silly as the two cockatoos

Thanks. She’s over 13 and has slowed down considerably. Extremely athletic but her age is showing. Dreading the inevitable.

The cockatoos need a lot but they will get it from any and everyone if someone is around. They love everyone and are clowns. On average they need at least 3 hours or so per day but they usually just come chill and snuggle with us on the sofa to get that attention in the evenings. We have a large parrot room and I leave them out all day with toys and they are usually pretty fulfilled with that activity. Just have to keep things for them to destroy. They love destroying cardboard boxes and I buy clearance baby activity toys from the dollar store.

The African grey couldn't care less about a lot of attention. They are a one person bird usually and that one is attached to my wife.

ETA: They are also expensive both to buy and maintain because of the diets and toys

Way back pic of our bluetick beagle named Blue

This picture pretty much sums up my childhood…chickens running in the yard, dogs running loose, barrels in the yard, kids with no shoes on, etc.

This is the thread that's going to make an old man learn how to post images on the OT so he can brag on his pound rescue mutts.
