Simply place some plastic wrap around your forehead and slap some peanut butter on the front and you’re in business. The pup will be so focused on the peanut butter that they won’t know what else is happening and those nails will be clipped to perfection.

Probably cheaper to buy one of these than walnuts

Walnut oil works well on most wood and will cover scratches to an extent. Lots of bowl and cutting board makers use it to finish their products because it leaves a nice finish and is food safe.

You know, there’s another pet hack with peanut butter…

That peanut butter trick might work, hopefully my dog loves peanut butter more than he hates having his nails clipped

This sounds like it could end badly. Dog trying to lick food off your head, then a nail gets clipped and they bite down on your head. And you have only yourself to blame because you were encouraging your dog to eat food off your head.

I have to say, considering dogs like to eat socks and bottles, the chances of that "toy" being eaten are high. Also, speaking of eating, dogs also like to chew up tennis balls. The slo-feed bowls ain't that costly.
