Well, if it were my property hope he could stand on the edge of it and make a 1500 yard shot to claim his.

Are you going to shoot him when he comes onto your property?

Amazing the way that a little power and a firearm can make some people lose all compassion for other people.

Depends on if he was wearing orange or not.

Being he would have to break a lock to get a vehicle in, his other choice would be to hop in and walk around.

If he came unexpected and alone, may be a tragic hunting accident, That could have been avoided had he not been trespassing.

He won't be.

He will cut the lock.

Sounds like you're really educated on the law. By all means, proceed.

I'm not sure Matlock would be enough in your hypothetical situation.

This reminds me of the story about the hunter that comes across a dog exhausted and all tangled up in briers. He decides to shoot it in the head to take it out of its misery but just grazes it. Dog gets loose and takes off running all the while the hunter is still shooting at it.

Go to their houses and shoot something they care abount 5 times! Unnlicensed dog, ferral cat, unattended livestock. It would be legal so that makes it right according to them.

It's unfortunate that this innocent thread contains veiled threats of killing a wildlife agent considering the recent shooting of a wildlife agent.

Or maybe a good attorney can spin it another way.

Not sure but it's the basis for them being able put limits and seasons on game.

there was also concern that the animal could be carrying chronic wasting disease, a fatal illness that cannot be tested for in live deer.

Then logically they need to shoot every deer in the state.

That's an idiotic excuse.

These game wardens remind me of the captain in The Thing

"I was wonderin' when El Capitan was gonna get a chance to use his popgun."

I bet they were drooling with anticipation. Damn domesticated deer wasn't hurting a damn thing.

It isn't like they could return the deer to the wild.

People should have thought about the law before they doomed the deer to its ultimate fate.
