Just walked outside. Saw 2 in less than a minute then a couple of minutes lull and saw a 3rd. So I considered my curiosity satisfied and got my butt back inside.

My friends and I watched for about two hours off and on from 9-12. Saw about 30. Some pretty good ones. Lots of satellites too.

Went back out and it took about 15 minutes for me to start seeing some again. After that I saw about 10 in the next 15-20 minutes. Think I'll call it a night now

Was outside for 25 minutes, btwn 4:05 and 4:30. Could see the stars, but there were some thin clouds/haze. Saw several flashes of light on my periphery, but no distinct meteors. DISAPPOINTED!
I'll probably go back out in 45 minutes or an hour...

I just got off work, and I'm glad I saw this thread.

I'm in Boulder, Co, at about 5400' elevation, on a pretty clear night. I've probably seen 8 in 15 minutes. It's good enough that I've cracked open a beer, rolled one up, and am hanging in the backyard. Not as dramatic as I expected, but still cool.

Yes. Meteors only fall at Earth's nighttime and no time in between.

I'm in Las Vegas and wanted to drive out in the desert and watch it. But it's raining.
