Perfect New Orleans Weekend

I love showing people around to New Orleans who have never been, but it would be interesting to get the perspective of folks on the OT.
We are arriving around 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and leaving 6:00 PM on Monday.
The lady I am bringing (no pics) is from SO Cal, has never been to NOLA, and is a real foodie (a trained chef).
A few things she says she wants to do is try a Ramos Fizz and a Sazerac at the Roosevelt and beignets at Cafe Du Monde.
We are staying on Canal.
I reckon I could have posted this on the Travel Board or the Food Board, but the OT seemed like the place to start.
I'll just leave it at that.

You should definitely sample a French quarter 21st century robbery, it's quite the spectacle.

I'm sorry but the OT has a mandatory picture policy for women from Southern California.
ETA: Just had Borgne for the first time last weekend. The shrimp toast might be the most delicious appetizer I've ever had. It's in the Hyatt Regency on Loyola Ave. The main course was good as well. If the weather is clear at night, definitely check out Frenchman street if you're into art and live music after dinner.
For brunch one day definitely hit up Brennan's on Royal. Their breakfast menu is nothing short of lavish and make sure to treat yourself to Banana's Foster after the meal. They invented it there and I've yet to have better. You'll need a reservation most likely but with apps like Open Table it shouldn't be too hard.
Also take her to the Carousel Bar in Hotel Moteleone. That one's a real panty dropper.

First of all, I would post a the restaurant and bar request on the food board. Be kind of specific about what kind of places you want to eat (location, style, budget, etc)
Ask other stuff on the travel board.
The mouth breathers are going to fck this thread all up.
