Multiple private schools in the area sent out notifications yesterday to parents that they were monitoring the situation and student safety was their primary concern. If this is all a rumor, it has been a good one.

The lake definitely has extra security on location and are on high alert. It's insane how far these rumors have gone. I guess they just can't take the chance.

I've been to 2 Walmarts around town and have seen extra security outside. This rumor has spread quickly.
