Did this to my buddies once at a poker night. They thought I was drunk because I was going all in almost every hand. Most caught when I kept winning, but I still won the game that night.

I think when people do that, they actually want to do or say shite that they wouldn't normally do or say, so they can just blame it on being drunk AF.

Knew a guy years ago that did this. We'd be at a party and he'd fill his cup every fifteen minutes. Finally caught his as$ one night dumping a full beer into a house plant and saying,"welp, bout time to fill 'er up again". My first thought was not about his fake drinking, but instead all the beer he must've wasted over the years.
