Salt on watermelon actually makes it taste sweeter. It's a southern thing.

Northerners like to sear watermelon on the grill. That also makes it taste sweeter.

Never done that. I like grilling peaches, though. Absolutely wonderful. Might as well give watermelon a try.

Slice cucumbers and add a bit of red wine vinegar or whatever vinegar you like, a bit of salt and lemon pepper. I’ve eaten that all my life and had one today.

Salt on watermelon always. Eat watermelon with tomatoes and pesto.
