Point to me in the Bible where this has any application or any of the Catholic beliefs that differ from Protestant for that matter.

I probably would leave after communion but I fear being judged by others.

If I knew people would judge me, I would leave right after communion for that exact reason. Im serious..

Because I would think it is funny they are paying that much attention and that it bothers them that much, it is an issue to them.

I did this a few weeks ago...My wife had to pee and I didn't want to sit in the pew by myself while everyone else finished up.

they equally believe in the same mythology as the ones who stayed, but aren't as stuffy and self righteous about it.

I knew Catholic kids in hs that really believed that going to Saturday mass would wipe the slate clean for all of the past week's transgressions so they were able to go back out and rinse and repeat starting that night

according to catholic dogma, they are correct.

What’s up with people that exit mass immediately after receiving communion? Most participate in the remaining 5-10 minutes giving thanks and praise while some bolt to beat traffic? Get an early start to their next venture? I don’t get it.

God understands. Isn't that enough for you?

James is not saying that justification is by faith plus works, but rather that a person who is truly justified by faith will have good works in his/her life. If a person claims to be a believer, but has no good works in his/her life, then he/she likely does not have genuine faith in Christ

It's pretty clear what he's saying, bro. And what he's saying ain't what you say he's saying, bro. Feel me?

And if Sola Scriptura were the way to be sure-a, then, this convo would be impossible, right? Because sola scriptura. But here we are-a.

That they fail to appreciate the Mass, to their own detriment.

Sometimes they might have a good reason, so I try to be charitable.

I’ve left early before if time is short, but that is a rare occasion.

We don’t care. Used to go to Mass regularly. Not going anymore, nor giving one dime to the Catholic Church until the hypocrites start throwing priests and bishops in jail and start vetting the new priests - to STOP RAPING KIDS!
