The only assholes I've do it today is when I went through Covington today. Had 2 STPSO driving down 190 going 60 and never checked up for any of the lights

They do not teach drivers ed anymore, and people literally don't care.
It's why the blow through lights, cruise in the left hand lane, etc. Poor driving is an epidemic.

Same people who see the sign saying traffic is going to one lane run the empty lane all the way up to the end and then try to cut in. Never understand why people let them in line when they do that.

What happens is those who do that (and also the pricks who want to double up behind the car in front of them) - throws the whole thing off. So now, people in the other lanes are kind of hesitant to go because you don't know if some other dipshit is going to do the same thing.
And let's face it, I never want to be in an accident but now of all times I really don't want to be in one.

Yea, I was more thinking about the situation where there is construction going on and signs a mile back telling you the lane is closed. All the traffic is in the right lane because the courteous people have all ready merged in a timely fashion. There is always one a-hole who’s time is more important than everyone else’s that runs the empty lane all the way to the end and cuts in.
In Alabama that is called being an a-hole not merging.

Do they not know that a non working lights means that its treated like a stop sign. These idiots are treating it like a green light. frick everybody else and their safety.
Yeah and this is part of the over arching problem, I try to use malfunctioning lights as a four way stop BUT I’m always wary of the dumbass behind me not abiding by the same knowledge of driving that I have, and as such I have to run them myself on occasion to adapt.

Is the light set up to be that way or is it malfunctioning? If it is flashing yellow due to a malfunction then it is supposed to be a four way stop.

Yes! This is one thing that pisses me off…the point is for the cops to arrive SAFELY to an accident and by doing so, enabling them to make it to the scene as well as not cause other accidents. Many LE seem to not factor this in, even though they are in a hurry, they still need to exercise a reasonable amount of caution. Many don’t. Furthermore, when they are not on a call or en route to a non-emergency they tend to not follow basic rules such as using turn signals, etc…they of all people should know the fruits or careless and/or reckless driving and yet they seem to partake in it excessively!

Either way, if it's flashing yellow that means proceed with caution. It doesn't mean be a fricking dumbass and floor it through the intersection.

WRONG. it’s intended to flash yellow one way ( proceed with caution) and red the other way (stop) to keep traffic flowing. Dumbasses who stop at a flashing yellow are interfering with the flow of traffic.
