Electronics, particularly cell phones, can help destroy a marriage.

Everyone is so interested in other people's lives and what they broadcast to their followers as perfect, it can cause a wedge in their own situation. Rarely, if ever, does anyone post the shite that really goes on in their life. Less than $1K in their emergency fund, if they even have one or living paycheck to paycheck. Instead, it's vacations, new cars, perfect marriages, dinners at Ruth's Chris, and more vacations.

And people who are out the outside fall for that shite. They think why can't I have that. The truth is, it is mostly all a lie. And if you're searching for happiness on your phone, you're actually missing out on the real happiness that is right there in front of you, in your own situation. Unfortunately, many are too blind to recognize happiness from within.

Facebook depression is real. I explained to my wife one time that people don't post when little Brayden failed the 4th grade or when they got in a huge fight and had to sell their 50k Tahoe because they couldn't afford the 84 month note.

I don’t get amused by much on here but I was actually highly amused by the OP because it sounded exactly like my last relationship, except we were just three years and a handful of months in.
