ah, yeah. Let's just say all my guy needs are met for sure. But more importantly, she's my best friend/ confidant, etc. I'll tell her crap that I'd never dream of posting on the OT Trust is the key component to our relationship, if that's helpful to the OT....

I think I sat next to him on a plane one time but had my nose buried in a book so I missed my chance. C'est la vie.

Joke being, "I'm too tied up in myself to have ever noticed even if I had." I can relate.

Incorrect. Monogamous relations in humans far predate religion and are also found in other species.

Just glad I found the ex early enough to have kids. Now my days are spent thinking about what the future holds. Having kids and raising them is off the list. I am beginning to better understand this thing they call midlife crisis. We got a shite ton more money too spend without kids to pay for and we still look at the good looking ladies but frick that serious relationship stuff. Been there done that. I enjoy the company of a good lady though.

It's a myth. People weren't meant to marry or stay with one person for life. It's not normal or healthy. Religion created this fairy tale BS. It's why the divorce rate is fifty percent and infidelity is rampant in the other fifty percent but they stay together for convenience.

Thank you. Monogamy is great for morals and society. For humans and the animal kingdom, not so much.

Noho you are the exception in here. All that sports knowledge to go along with your great posts. Disregard anything I said negatively about the ladies in here.

Found her at 11 years old. Didn't know each other from age 14 to age 30. After growing up together in Upstate NY , my parents were transferred to Nashville when I was 14. She stayed in NY until after college and moved to Tampa at age 23. Hurt my back and was out of work for 2 weeks at age 30 and stayed with my parents while recovering. Mom was hounding me to get a FB page to kill time and talk to my grandmother. First day on , my SO (now) contacted me. After a couple of years of weekend visits I moved to Tampa. Now engaged to be married.

I really want to be good at this monogamy thing, but my track record sucks. I've been on a decent run with the current wife, so far no screwups.

Hey, if you need something to spend that money on, me and my "one" sure could use it. We're getting married in a few months.

the "one" is a big lie, media creation... males are programmed genetically to spit seed any and everwhere every chance they can... now, do males crave companionship? sure but that too is a survival mechanism from the breast feeding days... many men choose to have one woman, at least until st peter sends their arse to hell... there is no 'one' to all you kids reading this mess... If there was only one, then God is a racist because look how many boogie children there are?

Liz I don't believe in cheating at all. Never done it and never will. If you are in any type of relationship honesty is the best policy. If you gonna cheat end the relationship before you do.
