This might not be the right way, but it is my way. You have some control over your environment, IMO and you have to set the tone.

Send an email to all involved and say the closes thing to "Look mother frickers, yall keep lying and making up shite about how I don't do my job, well check this out.

Then you provide the documents you have and explain the information. Next, tell them that if there is any situation in which someone doesn't feel you did your job to please contact you to make you aware of their concerns because you have no interest at all in not doing your job.

Sometimes its a communication thing. You don't know who is telling what to who. So if you let them all know and they all know who all knows, then no one can blame shite on you. People will say anything to cover their arse. You don't know what your boss has told other people, there might be a reason why he isn't addressing it.

And don't worry about pissing anyone off. frick them, all you doing is showing that as for as you are aware of you are doing your job and if you didn't it wasn't on purpose so you would appreciate them to come let you know so you can do what you have to do.

Never underestimate people and what they will say when it comes to office politics. So cover your arse.

This means they won and frick that. If there is a big deal over something you am accused of doing, but didn't do, you go to war and let them know they can't make you a scapegoat. Why should you (in general) have to be the one to have to look for a new job?

If there are multiple "lies" going around about your work performance I'm sorry bruh but you probably aren't doing nearly as good of a job as you think you are

It had been my responsibility.
It was claimed I didn't do my job.
Thing is, I did. I had the instrument setup ready to go. The other person knew such( I have emails proving this).
Also this kind of thing happens all the time. If it was your responsibility to get it done and it didn't get done then that falls on you. Yes the other guy screwed up but at the end of the day you take the blame

If you went to your boss and he did nothing, then go to HR and document everything that has happened so they have record. Write an email summarizing the events and also send them copies of all emails backing up your case.

I dealt with a very difficult employee who would come to my office and just unload on me (he wasn't happy that I was now his supervisor). I documented everything with HR and when that person suddenly quit and tried to make up all kinds of accusations against me, I had struck first with documentation that this employee was untrustworthy and lying.

People are afraid to use HR but that's what they are there for.

Oh, and start looking for another job.

And for God’s sake, get someone who is organized and literate to fix any written correspondence before he submits it to HR.

The legal advice provided in some responses is awful.

Your story is similar to what I’ve experienced as well. Seems to be a common theme.

Sorry it is hard to explain. I did the work. Then when it came time to put into service. She claimed it wasn't. She went and re did the work. Pretended I didn't do it. I have electronic data that it was good to go two weeks before this went down. She literally went and re did everything to make it look like I didn't do shite.

The trick is to get what you want without throwing anyone under the bus… overtly.

Honestly, what ever processes you use at work failed. You did the work and nobody at each level was aware that you did it. If they were, you wouldn’t have posted and they would have just put the GC in service.

So, I suggest you suggest that the work processes utterly failed (because you previously did the work) causing a big issue and you’d like to help get that process fixed going forward.

They will find out you already did the work, question why she re-did the work and you’ll be seen as being helpful and a problem solver.

Odds are you failed at your job with so many not believing you including your boss. Ask how to do better next time and move on
