Speaking of Mobile, which one of you rented the small house behind Food Pak the last few years? It was covered with LSU flags and LSU stuff. I think the person may have moved on. Could be OP

I lived in Mobile for 4 years and Baton Rouge for 8 years and Mobile is significantly better than Baton Rouge. Neither of them is great but Mobile is definitely superior

Other than LSU athletics, there isn't much, if anything, that makes Baton Rouge better than Mobile.

what I like is the low crime rate in Mobile, met with a friend who is an investigator for the Ft. Worth, Tx DA's office that had to go to Mobile for an investigation last year, this guy has a long history with the Ft. and I would bet you about 95% of those take place in an area the size of 10 city blocks aka Prichard

I've never lived in Mobile. I only started the thread because I was in a social setting with someone from Mobile the other night that I'd never met. It'd been a while since I'd hung out with anyone from Mobile, and this dude reminded me that I really have never met anyone from Mobile that I was particularly fond of.
Saraland, Satsuma, eastern shore, GS, OB - I've met plenty of people from around Mobile that I would consider cool people, and that I am still friends with...but no one from Mobile Mobile.
My exposure has been mostly with the fraternity and sorority types from Mobile, so I realize this is a generalization based on a certain type of person from Mobile. I am sure that there are probably plenty of good folks from there.

I would bet you a large amount of money that they are private school kids. I pretty much hate all the private school Mobile kids
