There’s a fairly major street here in Jax called Dunn Ave. Lots of culcha all up and down it. Very common for it to be referred to as Dunns Ave.

Not going to lie, for a majority of my life, I thought it was Krogers. Town I grew up in had a Brookshires and a Kroger in it. Never paid attention to the spelling as I was a kid. We moved back to louisiana and didn’t see a Kroger for many years.

I dated a young lady from Vietnam once who moved to the US as a child but still struggled with the language because English was the 2nd language in her home growing up.
She added an "S" to everything, and I would just laugh.
