Sometimes humor is a good way to cope with a horrible situation as long as you don’t use it in front of the person(s) suffering and don’t disrespect them.

Is there, like, a map of abandoned underground mines or places where water has been sucked out and they left a hole? Wtf. Like that lake that drained and sucked down trees in La.

Prob like the stories of people drowning trying to save their dog. The dog usually comes back fine.

Thanks, I needed a fear unlocked this morning.

And the worst is - you never know where a hidden sinkhole might be. You could be strolling or jogging for some exercise anywhere and BOOM down the hidden sinkhole you go. Pavement is no protection - the pavement goes down with you - probably on top of your head.

The only way to be safe is to never leave your house - and even then watch out for home fires, tornados, carbon monoxide gas, home heating and cooking gas, drowning in the bathtub, slipping in the shower or being eaten by your pet animals while you sleep.

Merry Christmas!

The weather is cold right now. Low in NOVA was 16 last night.

Probably not in the sinkhole.

I read where they said the sinkhole is at least 30 feet deep. I wonder how wide it is below the surface?

Also reading that the lady’s five year old grand child was in the car just breaks my heart.

No doubt this poor girl is going through some shite

Wasn't the car still running though? Still awful for the girl to not know wtf was happening for 12 hours.
