This is La baw. 90% of our population doesn't know what a crosswalk is and hell would freeze over before they would walk the extra 50ft to one even if they knew what it was for.

I walked about 30 feet to walk across one today. But I'm not a lazy sack of shite.
Also figured, hey I can barely see cars coming with all these parked cars on the side of the street. They def won't see me if I just popped out between two of them.

Google shows there is a cross walk at Acadian-kind of. It needed re-painting really badly in Nov. of 2016. There was more without paint than with.

At least the EBRPD is taking out people. The NOPD would have to ask them politely if its okay if they hit them with their car.
