Pedestrian killed on 73 Pville/ Hit & Run

If I'm intoxicated, you bet your arse I'm running for a day. Then turning myself in.

Usually I feel bad for the drivers in the AP incidents as there is zero shoulder for pedestrians to walk. But 73 has huge shoulders now. Driver had to be distracted and swerved.

Agree. Unless I am missing something, if a car hits a pedestrian on a highway like that, there is no possible way the driver is at fault. The pedestrian doesn't have rights unless there is a crosswalk...and there are none.

If the driver has something to hide and doesn't want the police to find out, then that is a different matter....but there is no good reason to flee the scene.

If I've had too much to drink and you're sashaying across the road and I hit you, I'm hauling arse to my place and then turning myself in later saying that I thought it was a deer.

Any details on the person hit? A lot of kids walking to school at that time.
