Needs to be a lot more self-policing in their groups to stop those wanting to start some shenanigans.

I’ve seen a few videos of it happening but not nearly enough.

If the peaceful ones want to continue they need to get ahold of the rioters and get them in line.

I've watched enough to see large groups just chanting, then a handful of idiots start cursing, throwing objects, and destroying property which leads to the cops the start with the gas and rubber bullets.

Quit letting that handful have their way and they could protest all they want.

You want peaceful people to perform citizens' arrests on violent people?....while the police watch from afar?

It's not. The protests are likely going to continue for at least a few more days. By many accounts, DC had its largest turnout yesterday afternoon, many coming out for the first time.

I’m sure after a few more days we will surely solve the “racism problem” in America, right? I know the black boxes on social media yesterday went a really long way.

In the mean time, I pray for our innocent police officers, innocent citizens not involved, and the lives ruined by the riot destruction. And I pray for their #justice.

Will you?

I saw that. Make me really mad.

That dog was there because of a shitty owner likely dumped him somewhere to die. He had a chance to end up with a loving home. And instead was stolen, used as a prop, and senselessly murdered.

I wouldn’t be able to help myself if I saw that taking place. I’d mow down every last one of them. Jail time be damned, a puppy?

Comments on animal abuse at your “peaceful protests” Spleen? Also understandable?

No, I'm not a prayer. I do hope all those things happen, along with wide sweeping systemic changes to the way this country polices its citizens.

The fact is though, Americans are poor students of our own history. We repeatedly make the same mistakes of our past, and I expect no less this time. The 4 officers may see justice, the rioting and looting will likely die down, but racism will still be a problem and little will change with policing. The beat goes on.

Is racism better now or worse compare to the 60’s and 70’s?

I don’t want to even find it. That’s over the top IMO. Just like the jackass that shot the retired police officer. I bet he is proud of himself.

Overtly, it's probably better. Covertly, it's about the same.

Way worse. More voices and more things to loot. Why do people destroy and steal just to make a point????? I don’t get it??????

what's the solution for covert racism? We'll need a way to start policing people's thoughts - any suggestions?
