Typically how it happens:
Dude walks in with a signed check by James Madison and wants $5000.
Rick calls his "expert" and says this: "Hey, I got a guy in here with a signed check from James Madison. He wants $5000 for it. Come over, authenticate it, and if it's real, value it at $2000."
Supposed expert: "Classic James Madison signature. Really nice and rare. This piece would typically go for about $2000 at market."

This might be crazy, but I don't think Duck Dynasty is all that real. There is no way those four dudes make all those duck calls. All they do is frick off. Not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but man oh man.
