I think this is stupid. I think The Big Show could come up with a better character than Captain Insano.

he's not trying to go on a long feud here

this is to get a nostalgia pop... do a quick comedy match... have some fun... and be done with it

the wrestling company understands sports entertaining better than the sports entertainment company

also... if Fairuza Balk ain't out there flashin' some boobs while Kathy Bates screams 'girls are the devil'... what are we even doing with this spot?

if Rey Mysterio can survive being chucked off the top of Titan Towers... then Paul Wight can survive some measly drop

His feud with the Big Bossman produced some of trashiest yet hilarious television I've ever seen.

I stopped watching wrestling back when he was still The Giant. WCW was good times for 12-13 year old me and the baws.

I'm with you. Starcade 97 was the pinnacle of wrestling IMO.

Big Show has been through alot. Poor bastard had to watch the Big Boss Man drag his dead father out in a coffin. Then tried to hang on for dear life.

That must have been rough.

Perhaps our old friend Mr. B from Jackson's Bayou will make an appearance.

Bossman interrupting big show's dad's funeral. Hooking the casket to the car and driving away while big show held on was hilarious

He was way more imposing as The Giant in WCW. Once he shaved his head and took the “Big Show” route his lost something, and not just his hair.

Yeah that was a pretty bad, but the Katie Vick/Triple H angle was even worse

On filming the whole sequence: “So we laid it out, we just said, ‘Okay, let’s do it.’ So there was actually a service going on in the cemetery with people around a grave site. And we tied up a casket to the back of a car and drug it through the cemetery, tearing up the grounds as we drove away. With the Big Show jumping on the casket and riding it for a while before taking one of the worst bumps in the history of the business. And as soon as we did it, I said ‘Okay guys, we’re out of here.’ And we left and I left my production manager to kind of deal with the fallout. But I got a call the next day, and was told that we would never be able to use that cemetery again. Which I kind of knew, as I was high-tailing it out of there. But it goes down as probably one of the best pieces of television that has probably ever existed.”

Good read on that here

The fricked up that main event so bad. It could have been legendary but Hogan had to be Hogan.
