Last line of the story - dude sounds exactly like a drug addict.

And yet the Rolling Stones were singing about "mother's little helper" in 1965. Amphetamines for mommies! That's precisely aimed at mainstream society, not just potheads and dropouts.

But I have a better idea, stop eating pizza.

Didnt they used to sell a tapeworm and pill to kill the tapeworm? You'd give yourself tapeworms then when you lost enough weight you'd take the pill to kill them.

For a 5'8" male in his mid-50s, a healthy weight range based on BMI is typically between 130 to 165 pounds, or a BMI between 25 and 27.
Do the math on the BMI and it's 26.6 or the upper end of the scale. Not saying I couldn't lose a few pounds, but again hormonal changes over time can be rough.
Good luck to all of you as you age...

My wife had to have an emergency hospital procedure done this past week and had to go all the way to Dallas. Every hospital from Southern Oklahoma to Plano was full.
My wife, who is a RN, was talking to one of the ER nurses there and the ER nurse said one major contributing factor to the overcrowded hospitals right now is these weight loss drugs.
According to her, so many people are filling up the ER with complications with the drugs--obstructions, dehydration and assorted other issues.
My wife's brother's wife had to go to the ER a few months ago due to something with the shot.
I'm all about you fatties losing weight, but you might want to keep an eye on your health.
I just dont believe it.
A month ago when some of us were saying its amazing how people are putting a needle in their arse for a diet drug but are anti vax????
Blahaha. Hypocrisy at its finest.

No not really.. because if your eating 3 big macs a day and you drop it down to 2 a day technically yes you're eating less calories but it's what you're eating that's the key..
The problem is added sugars in foods.. in the 1800s humans on average consumed about 18lbs of sugar annually... Turn of the century in the early 1900's it jumps to 90..
By the 70's it was up to 120ish and today on average we consume 150+ lbs.. and since the turn of the century we've gotten fatter..
So like I said in a previous post.. Sugar is the ultimate villain against being a normal size . Especially once you aren't a teenager with a blazing fast metabolism..
So you can move around all you want, but if you continue to put garbage in it's not gonna make a real difference whatsoever..

You just need to get into that 160-165 range and you'd be at a good spot.
Currently you are overweight for your height.
Not every person in their 50s is overweight. You are making excuses.
Tell me everything you drank yesterday and so far today. I bet we can find some extra calories to cut out.
