I think if he signed the birth certificate and has been paying support he may still be on the hook. If so, he should get visitation? I don’t really know, but I’ve known people in this situation and that’s how it worked

I agree 100%, but the time slot these shows are in should answer your question. Who's at home watching network TV at 11AM on a Tuesday? This is what they find entertaining.

The saddest part is that the mother will never put that child's best interests first. She was using her to hurt the ex. Poor child doesn't have much of a chance at growing up happily.

Court shows have always been in the footsteps of Maury Povich. Only morons (both the "mother" and guy who thinks he's the dad) would take this case out of the privacy of family court and put it on national TV?

No, the guy isn't the father. He had zero financial obligations to that child. And the mom doesn't have to allow him to see the child.
Now the dead beat actual dad is a different story.
The guy was basically saying, that bitch that was just cheering is not going to let the guy have visitation rights. It was a response to, if I raised that child, she's mine. No, no she's not
