I certainly don't, and I hope they would stop. "Oh, Billy was was watching Einstein with me, he's a genius". STFU, your kids will end up average most of the time, some smarter, some dumber.

Stop hyping your normal genes as special...no one is buying it.

Please never reproduce. Your stupidity does not need to be replicated and the gene pool is shallow enough as is.

If you're not proud of your kids and can't find something to brag about, you simply aren't involved and don't give a shite about them.

I never have bragged.

I expect the same from others.

If they do in front of me I act disinterested.

I'm a truly heterosexual male so I'm not on Facebook.

tl/dr: whatever, don't care

Once I have a kid I'm pretty sure I will post many pics of him/her on my fb because my parents are 1400 miles away and my dad enjoys all the pics I now post on fb.

That's why I don't get annoyed at fb friends who post a ton of baby pics. Chances are.....they do so for family that do not live nearby and not because they want to annoy those without children.

I like my friend's kids and don't get to see them often so I like seeing their posts. They post funny stuff so it is not annoying like someone bragging.

As for our grandbaby, I see her more often than her other grandparents and family that live far away. So I created a special list on FB so that when I post pics and videos of her only relative and close friends can see the pics and posts.

I expect she will be enrolling in med school at 12.

Will the med school be flexible with her pro sports career and her SCOTUS justice obligations?

My family sees my son a couple times a year. So I do this, plus friends I don't get to see often.

I try not to brag on him, but I do tell stories. Whatever, don't like it then move along.

Might as well just put one that says "I live in a trailer park and my kid's going to grow up to have a job with his name on his shirt"

Like this???

But seriously, I try to put down my son as much as possible. He may be doing things great, but they can always get better and I don't want that little shite to think he has to stop trying. I like that other people post pics of their kids. I show it to him and tell him he's slacking. I don't think he get's it yet since he's only 17 months old. But at one point it's going to click. If we can somehow avoid him hating me or becoming clinically depressed, I think this method is going to make him an amazing human being.
