Did they say what set things off?
Probably something stemming from their men's softball league.

Tee ball umpiring was the worst job I ever had
Yep. Volunteered to do it once for a tournament our park put on. After telling one coach that I was about to toss him out of the game because his wife in the stands was showing her arse I vowed to never do it again.
Baseball brings out the worst in parents and the kids see it.
ETA: Cooper City is near the Ft. Lauderdale Airport. It's a bit trashy.

What's up with the guy right at the end trying to do a flip over the open gate?
Posted on 4/19/16 at 12:42 pm to The Truth 34
Did the last dude running in get hung up on the gate?
We were in a game this past weekend that got heated. A fella from the other team comes over to our side the fence and starts making little snide comments in front of our parents. Like "my coaches sent me over here to see how yall coaching from over here because from where we at yall cheating" "how much yall paying the Refs" "who taught yall to cheat like this". Then he busted out " who's that colored kid that just pitched?" The kids momma fricking lost it and took off after his arse. He was about to get a beat down, his dad was standing in another area and if he would have heard it wouldn't have been nice. The dude ran out to the parking lot and didn't come back. The next day their coach came appolgize to the family. I've done some coaching and dealing with the kids is the easy part

I can see how this happens. If i had a child playing little league and another parent was in the stands yelling disparaging crap at them for making mistakes, we would definitely have a come to jesus meeting.
Growing up at Carrolton Boosters I definitely remember a few instances where an over zealous parent got too involved and yelled at the kids. There are less trashy means to put them in their place though than a brawl. The closest I saw to a fight was actually just two coaches on the same team arguing over coaching responsibilities. They were chirping at each other from the dugout and the basepath, the kids and parents just kind of sat there awkwardly the whole time.

oh for sure, but I'll be damned if I sit there and say nothing while some a-hole yells at my child. I would tell this guy in no uncertain terms that he will keep his comments to himself. If it escalates from there, then so be it.
i know i know, csb, #internettoughguy

You're definitely right on that count but I think there's a special trashy breed of parent who goes to these games actively seeking some sort of altercation.

My buddy umps little league games sometimes, and he says that the parents are downright nasty quite often. He has had to toss a few. People are fricking crazy.
I did this for a year in Louisiana and never will again. The parents were ridiculous. It's bad enough most don't know the rules, but they swear they know more than you.

I am cracking up. I wouldn't consider that a fight.

It's funny I never see these things happen in golf.
thats my point. it is a little league baseball and a white man thing. I see it anytime I go to a little league ballgame. shite is taken way too seriously, it is fricking kids playing baseball.

If anything that was just an aggressive game of grab arse between two fat homosexuals.

My son gave up baseball. I have to say my first thought was relief at not having to deal with parents anymore.
