Please tell me that wasn't for the young lady who recently received a beach wheelchair from the LSU Engineering Team?!

Ruining a trip for an entire family and taking away a chance to get down to the sand from the person for whom the chair belongs.

When there were no longer wheelchair tracks and only footprints in the sand, that is when I carried you.

What did they do besides steal the wheelchair? It sounds like they stole one that is offered at the beach or the hotel so it's not like they stole someone's person wheelchair.

You should see how much they charge people for batteries. For a charge that needs 2 batteries, they charge about $250 a battery. So if people need batteries they go to these wheelchair places, because they tell them don't go to a battery place because they could give you the wrong battery and mess up your chair.

It's a fricking battery. I go to interstate battery. They take out the batteries and replace them with new ones just like the old ones. When the woman from the wheelchair place called me about getting new batteries, I told her I needed to replace them awhile back and just went to Interstate. She told me "Oh no! Don't ever do that again. They will mess up your chair". I told her they just took out the old ones and replaced it with the exact same type of battery. That will not mess up anything".

She started telling me some other bullshite so I told her "look I can go there and get 2 of the same exact batteries for $100 cheaper than it cost to get one from you. I understand why you want me to get them through you, but don't insult my intelligence" And she was like "Yes sir, I understand".

Anyway.. The medical supply industry.. They make some money and they frick the government. I am surprised they have never been looked into. Old people who are on their deathbed in the old folks home. They will say that they need a new wheelchair. Their government benefits pay for them to get a brand new wheelchair. They can die and not go one day using that wheelchair. They will take it then turn around and sell it to someone else.

One time I was going to PT for my arm and they told me I needed a brace. It was a piece of plastic.. and was going to try to charge $200 a day. When I told them I had insurance through work and asked if they would pay for it... The lady told me "well, you might be able to get away with not using one".

I know tl;dr.. But $10k is a load of bullshite.

When I was a teenager. One night we came home after a night of drinking and whatever. It had rained that day.. Maybe the past few days. The neighbors had put dirt in one part of their yard to try to grow grass after having a section of grass that died for some reason..

One of my friends wanted to take my chair for a ride. Im sitting on the ground not paying attention.. All of a sudden he is in the neighbor's yard. He got stuck.. He rutted up their yard so bad.

The neighbors called my daddy and told them that it was obvious a wheelchair had gone through their yard. I was sleeping, my daddy came in my room yelling and was about to whip my arse. I didn't mean to snitch but I just yelling "It wasn't me it was ___________. He wanted to ride in my chair. I swear!" He called him up to confirm it wasn't me".. Anyway, at the time it was pretty fricking funny. It took the dude in my chair and the two others with us to pull that thing out and it fricked up their yard bad.. So I can understand the temptation.
