I'd look into a recovery drink. Your body loses a lot of things during the workout. Drink the recovery drink and don't eat anything for at least 45 minutes. I personally like the P90X Results and Recovery Formula because it tastes awesome and it has helped me a lot. But, I really don't know much about the other products out there.
Gotcha.. The recovery drinks are my biggest hold up I guess.. I haven't found one I can really stomach..

25 would be optimal for me. I lost 20 with p90x1

When I started, I could already do two or three, but my form was probably crap.
I hate to say it, but I didn't really start seeing serious improvement until I got the pullup assist. Before the pullup assist, I could do 7 without crapping out. After a few weeks with the pullup assist, I would get mad at myself if I couldn't do 15-20. The thing is a miracle worker. You sacrifice form with the chair because you worry that it's either gonna move out from under you or you can't get your entire back into it. The pullup assist makes you use great form and you can get way more reps in.

Ill post up a bunch of stuff tonight including recipe books.
As far as diet goes I posted macros for those looking to lose weight a couple pages back. I suggest those macros while doing intermittent fasting, using the leangains protocol of a 16 hour fast/8 hour feeding window. If you do that there is no way anyone is going to gain weight. Does it suck?yes for a couple days until you get used to it but it works. Ill post more later tonight.

I've seen great results on Paleo and doing primarily a 5x5 program with isolation workouts on rest days.
Can't wait to see what will happen once I start X3.
