I used to live about 2 miles from that restaurant. There aren't many black people in that area in general.

actually, EMS, Emory Police, and a lot of staff from the hospitals used to frequent there. Not sure now, as I don't go there any more. I'm not going to comment on the relative politeness of the patrons.

I will say that his real problem is the weekend millennial crowd.

Northeastern liberal douchebags, and I'm sure the guy in the group is usually the one sent in to check on the list.

When my wife and I do go there, Stephanie greets us with a smile and cups of coffee. George just scowls at white people. He's a self-loathing ubermensch.

What're you talking about, fr33? I've never been called any of those things. Mainly cause I don't hang out with loons and don't care what some fruit in California thinks about me.

Lol a fricking brunch place in North Druid Hills/Emory. Doesn't get much more lily white than that in Atlanta.

I shall never visit again. That's the price he's willing to pay to be cool to the anti-white mob.

This is the place that I asked about earlier. Someone else posted they are a tourist trap.

Are you for certain they are now closed?

"Damnit George, I just want to know my wait time!"

Reply: "Not as long as before he posted that."

A couple of my cracker buddies and I used to meet several times a week to do the "Men of a Certain Age" breakfast and work at the counter. We are friends with the other owner, Stephanie.

Although we tipped awesomely, were friends with all the staff, had been supporting the place since the day it opened, in a center that is very tough to survive in (due to a landlord who sucks arse) and gave them regular weekday business without taking up a table, George got involved in hands-on management, and pushed us out.

Stephanie needs to buy out George immediately and post a message to her clientele that she does not support the views of George to help save face. Otherwise, they will both end up in bankruptcy court very soon.

Business owners really need to learn when to shut up.

So now you can say racist things as long as they are factual and it is ok?

Two ears. One mouth. Use them proportionally.

General Muir is legit. Not sure they do brunch. More of a reuben place in my mind but I"ve only been once.

His claims weren't falsifiably factual, they were simply his anecdotes.

But yes, I believe that racialist things are quite fine to talk about, so long as they are supported by evidence. Not that this won't send some people into an apoplectic fit.

They do brunch, and they are packed for it. Dinner is they best thing they do imo, followed closely by the bakery they just opened next door.

This place is one of those breakfast places where you stand in line and wait for the next table, the just also happen to seat the bar the same fashion

Here is the thing these dimwits dont understand, the vast majority of the country, the bar, is first come first serve. If you are going to have host seating for the bar you better have a big fricking sign.

Yeah, that's idiotic. Me and my girl will sit at the bar all the time to avoid waiting on a table. The trade off is you get a less elbow room but no wait. He'll I've even stood at a bar and eaten before.

If the bar isn't first come first serve like 99% of eateries in the country it needs to be more clearly stated.

In general, I dislike when places have an unconventional seating system and fail to play traffic cop. Always leads to issues.
