Actually the Grand Canyon didnt do much for me. Id probably feel different if I hiked it but just sitting on the South Rim it just seemed like a big hole

Hard for me to fathom that. It had the complete opposite effect on, like looking at the finger of God drawing in the dirt. It was pretty awe inspiring.
Meteor Crater was as well.

Niagara Falls … I just wasn’t that impressed by it. Maybe it had been oversold to me by a bunch of old timers who talked about it like it was the greatest wonder of the natural world.

That’s funny. When I saw it in person I thought all the videos and photos I had seen of it didn’t do it justice. Much more impressive in person.
