I called a Chinese buffet once to see if they were open on Sunday. The old lady who answered the phone said, "Yes, we open. We no close. Why we close?"

The only two places I have heard so far that are open here are a Chinese restaurant and a nail salon owned by Asians

Gotta give it to the Asians. They don’t have lazy in their vocabulary (for the most part)

We have one within about 1.5 miles walking distance.
We’ve never been there before.
Could be runch.

I know its childish, but I still laugh every time I call the Chinese place I go to. Its been the same lady since the place opened.. At least 20 years ago and everything she says is one word. She answers saying the name of the place. I say I would like to place an order and she says "go".. If you forget to say whether you want rice or noodles she doesn't ask if you want rice or noodles she just says "rice?".. Oh she says two words when she says "15 minute",
And if you ask if they have something that they don't or anything in which the answer is no, she says no like she is scolding you. And I don't know if her tone is interpreted different by her family (its all family who works there), but when you are there and she yells out an order it sounds like she is saying it as if she is pissed off.
Like she is saying "You better cook one sweat and sour chicken. Rice" and as soon as she says it you hear the pans start moving and I just picture the cooks on edge just waiting for her to yell at them an order as if, if they don't get to it right away, she would cut them or something.

You frickers apparently don't have one Waffle House per every 8,000 residents that never close like we do...
