People are not performing their work well for any of them. They know they'll be fired eventually. This isn't working multiple jobs to make ends meet. It's lying to organizations and essentially stealing from them.

Sucking at your job is stealing?

That makes sense. Reminds me of the WWII planes where they wanted to fix the spots of the plane with the most bullet holes until they realized that was the planes that returned.

Some industries charge an hourly rate for their people's time, so fudging numbers is pretty fricked up in that case too.

Yeah that feels like a different discussion entirely, that's just straight up time theft. I think this situation is mostly for people who only have a few hours of daily work to do and spend the rest of the afternoon jiggling the mouse just because they're required to keep the Teams light green until 5pm.

F I can get all the work done for my job and then do the same with another one, what’s the issue? Is the job being done?

Reddit is a terrible place.

These people are admitting to committing fraud.

The worker and union subs celebrate murdering CEOs and destruction of private property.

This appears to be deceitful people who target WFH jobs, multiple jobs - as in 2-4 jobs, whereby they split their working time and earn 2-4 salaries until they get caught / fired.

What are WFH jobs?

Triple Dipping used to be common after WW II

#1 job = military service long enough to get retirement and benefits
#2 job = police or government long enough to get retirement and benefits
#3 job = private sector long enough to get retirement and benefits

Had a cop buddy who was a Quad Dipper

#4 job = state university sector in security

I've had an IRS employee on the phone that obviously ran a daycare. She put me on hold without muting and it was very obvious. On hold 15-20 min and she came back with a "not yet" answer to my question when she didn't even have anything except my very common name. She and the kids were screaming the entire time.

I hate reporting hours too, but I appreciate it when I'm reviewing my budget.

If reporting hours is done manually for your company, just know that the data is very likely shite

We have a sort of "time tracking" as well, and it's bullshite and I would doubt that it's close to accurate as a whole.

If some millenial can do like 3 fake corporate jobs at once and y’all boomers can only fathom doing one it just proves that all corporate jobs are a daycare to keep a certain group of people from having children

Meanwhile another group is cutting yalls grass for cash under the table and having 8 kids because yall are too burned out from sending emails to push a lawnmower

If both jobs are being done and being done well, how is it theft or wage fraud?

Unless you're paid hourly and lying about your time, or you have an exclusivity clause, there's none of this.

You can tell who has never run a business. They would let their employees rob them.

Funny, I saw the exact thing yesterday. I guess the reddit algorithm was hitting us with it.

What amazed me was the number of supporters for this, and the outright rage they have when they get caught.

I know that actual work hours for a lot of jobs isn't going to equal 8+ hours a day.

But you're not convincing me you can do 4 jobs with the same efficiency.

You can tell a small business owner who thinks he knows a lot more than he does when they call this "wage fraud" and "theft."

Because I make plenty of money already not working that hard. I don't do things just because they're not criminal.
