Why should you care about Syria?
Because they were a big contributor to terrorist activities in the Middle East.
If Assad remains, he will destroy his internal rivals and then focus back on international terrorism.

If Trump doesn't do shite people will say its proof he's in bed with Russia but if he went in guns blazing some of those same people would say he's just hungry for war.

The Syrian civil war would not be "international" (I assume).
I'd say it is international at this point.

The whole thing is horrible, but seeing little kids withering in pain after being gassed with Sarin is a higher level of horrible.

Some places run better with dictators. Syria was one of the nicer places in that part of the World not too long ago. Russia had the right idea backing the regime instead of trying to make it look like a real democracy.

Not trying to be a smart arse, serious question, what act of terrorism was Syria responsible for?

They did chemical attacks years ago and Obama didn't do jack shite about it.
Why now is there an outrage over our lack of response? (rhetorical question of course)
Because Trump called Obama a pussy for not standing up to Russia back then and allowing Syria to fall into a quagmire
This is Trump's opportunity to put his money where his mouth is...

IMO the CIA and the Deep State was behind this as a false flag attack to accelerate US involvement in the region for a ground war.

Syria has been an intermediary supplier and training ground for Hezbollah
While they may not have directly ordered attacks on Israel, they certainly support Hamas and Hezbollah

I could be wrong, but I believe they're a big supporter of Hezbollah and a close ally of Iran.

So....do they got any oil over there under that Syria?

Yup, and feed the military industrial complex, perpetual war in the name of Israel is good for their bottom line.

Gotta love the libtards... whenever we had troops fighting in the Middle East they were crying about "Peace not War". Now as soon as Trump comes out and basically tells everyone that it isn't our job to police other countries, America first, etc, they start crying because we aren't doing anything to help them.

Yeah, they want a shia domination from Iran to the med

Now would be a good time for Trump to let them nuts hang in the Middle East. Carpet bomb every inch of Syria and the rest of those Moslems would get their minds right.

There are Russian forces there as well as ISIS whose basis lies outside of and inside of Syria, as well as varying degrees of help for rebels from other countries over the better part of last decade. It's very much international.
eta; by that I mean international entities have joined the fight, but the war is between Syrian regimes isn't it?

I think we are going to hit Assad, but not hard enough to destroy his government. At the same time, the russians will be unleashing their forces on the syrian rebels. It will be like a Rocky and Ivan Drago tag team on Syria's sorry arse.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on the clearly defined and easily verified definition of "international"
