I hate how much I we’ve watered down the meaning of hero. At one point in time, doing your job wasn’t considered heroic and you didn’t have this expectation that every business you walked into owed you a thank you in the form of a discount. shite, even real bonafide heroes seemed to shy away from being called a hero
