I remember an old "cowboy" in in Eastern Arizona back in the 80's used to talk about them and their threats to herds in more remote areas. He said it was the one animal out there that he truly feared.

Sabi approves

I watched a video a week or so ago of one jumping off a tree into a river and grabbing a caiman by the neck and just ragdolling the caiman

I think I could take a bobcat and that’s about it

I agree. Fighting a bobcat would be like fighting off a chainsaw though. Our weight would win the battle though.

Page 2 of that article literally is about “environmentalists” voicing concern that the upcoming border wall is going to block the jaguar from entering Arizona, to the dismay of wildlife enthusiasts.

These people are nuts

It's their profession and passion.

We now have Jaguars in Arizona apparently

Don't tell the LDWF- they might try to reintroduce "The Louisiana Jaguar" ....

Although that might be a way to thin out a few alligators......

Heading to Arizona this week for snakes - got to see a mountain lion very close up in Texas last month, so hopefully I’ll see a jaguar in Arizona.
