I too know women who said similar things. These were different women during different years who did not know each other. And no I’m not telling you their names. Complementing his employees’ good looks, as you said, isn’t exactly good managerial behavior.
If he’s changed, then great, but saying that the women misconstrued things sounds like you’re not acknowledging his faults as a manager.

Before Dallas, he absolutely was inappropriate. I am not denying that one. What I am saying is when he got back, he was different. Most of the time if someone didn't work there at least 6 months, he wouldn't even talk to them. If a girl got a new haircut, put on full make-up, etc did he complement them, absolutely. Were there girls he even hugged when they came into work? Sure. There were girls in the past that told him something and he would no longer do that. Once he got back from Dallas, he was not attempting to sleep with any of the girls that worked there.
Again, those that think he was fired because of any waitress or series of events due to staff is plain wrong.

I was talking about the guy that said 3 girls were harassed.

I don’t think any of the girls had a reason to lie about it. I believe them - makes no difference to me if you believe me or not.

In this day and age when corporations are paying millions to alleged #metoo "victims"? I would say that is a reason. Not saying that is the case here but the number of bogus rape and assault claims definitively proven false in the last few years has me questioning every accuser's motives.

Or they could have had several reasons to make it up.....
They hated the boss
They didn't like his management style
They got skipped over for a promotion
There's several reasons for them to make it up.
And all that stuff from the post above. You're acting intentiokly obtuse. But I guess you have to knight for your girls.

Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc. Announces Sale of Sullivan’s Steakhouse to Romano’s Macaroni Grill
I LOVE these corporate PR statements. Let's break it down.
quote:
The net proceeds, which have not yet been finalized, will be used to reduce the Company’s outstanding indebtedness.
We are broke as frick and need cash to pay the mortgage next month.
quote:
The divestiture of Sullivan’s Steakhouse represents the culmination of a strategic alternatives process for the brand that was first announced in March 2018.
We told you back in March that place wasn't making money and you didn't listen so we carried it for two more quarters. Now we are dumping that dog.
quote:
Ray Risley, who previously served in that same position, has resigned to pursue other interests.
THIS is the guy who wouldn't listen so we canned his arse.
quote:
Norman Abdallah, CEO of Del Frisco's Restaurant Group, Inc., said, “The sale of Sullivan’s Steakhouse enhances our financial condition while enabling us to sharpen our focus on opportunities with the highest potential for strong returns. These include executing our Emerging Brands integration and expanding our core concepts of Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Barcelona Wine Bar and bartaco. We wish our colleagues at Sullivan’s Steakhouse all the best under their new ownership.”
Holy shite! I better say something good here or I am going to end up like that guy in the last paragraph. frick, I should have listened in March when the Board said to get rid of Sullivan's.
quote:
Nishant Machado, President and Chief Executive Officer, Romano’s Macaroni Grill and Senior Managing Director, Mackinac Partners, said, “The acquisition of Sullivan's Steakhouse is precisely aligned with our strategic plan and vision. We are focused on brands that provide guests with true hospitality and a unique experience, which the Sullivan's Steakhouse concept and team embodies.
Haha. Those stupid fricks at DelFrisco's got themselves in a jam and I stole Sullivan's for pennies on the dollar. The furniture in the restaurants is worth what we paid for the whole deal. SUCKERS!
quote:
Under our stewardship, we look forward to taking Sullivan’s Steakhouse to new heights.”
Those asshats couldn't run a drive through. We are going to make a gazillion bucks by fixing their frick up and laugh our way to the bank.
quote:
The Company intends to file revised financial statements with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the stand-alone Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group, Inc. within the next four days. Consequently, previously issued financial statements will be revised to reclassify the Sullivan’s Steakhouse operating results, including impairment loss, as discontinued operations.
We are going to pull some financial wacky jack bullshite with the books and frick our shareholders over.

Owners are tied up in a legal battle with each other for awhile, and aren’t spending money on it.

Bigger reason they are broke was opening 18 Del's Grilles in 3 years and expecting each to make $5M+ year one.

He has been with DFRG WAYYYY longer than the CEO and other C-level execs. He was the VP of the Del's Double Eagles not the Sullivans.

Probably true! DFRG did between $750k-$1.5M renovations on a number of the Sullivans over the last 5 years.

Leo's absence at Sullivan's has lead to an immediate decline in quality, atmosphere, and taste. It's truly remarkable how fast they have fallen.
For some reason, I find it fascinating how much of an impact one person can have on the success or failure of a business. If a place is having success and the GM/CEO.. whatever... leaves and then there is an immediate decline, it seems like whoever is in charge would go back to what they were doing when they were having success.
I know it can me a little more complex than that, but in the restaurant business, it takes more than pretty good food to succeed and it seems like anyone who has been in that industry for sometime would understand that... But considering how many restaurants fail, I guess there are a lot of people who simply don't want to go the extra mile to implement the small things.
